Installing Linux how?

How I installed Linux on a machine and overcome all sorts of obstacles:

• No USB/Network boot
• Only had a very old bootable linux cd
• The old linux distro didn't run modern binaries
• There was no LVM or ext3/4/btrfs support on the old distro
• There was no way to install GRUB on the old distro

But I did it anyway. :) The presentation is about how.

I use this story as an inspiration to tinker with old/weird hardware.
