Aprašymas
The talk will overview and tackle the following questions: why does the modern (high-energy in particular) physics lead to big amounts of data (O[1] EB), why do detectors need high bandwidth, how do they look like and operate, and what kind of mysteries of the nature can be accessed. Although the talk will focus on CERN activities, similar can be said about astroparticle physics (SKA project), neutrino physics, etc.
